Jason Collins...
We got over the gay N.B.A. player in the 90's when Magic Johnson and Isaiah Thomas used to kiss one another.  Any person who was a fan of the N.B.A. in the 80's & 90's who saw Magic Johnson and Isaiah Thomas kiss before the Lakers played the Pistons and didn't think that the two of them were a couple of bi-sexual men, must not have  been paying attention to what was going on.  I always assumed that Magic and Isaiah in some form were expressing themselves as gay or bi.  That's just what I assumed, and that just may be me, but I don't think so.  I think that as they played more and more games against one another, the two of them were sending a message that "hey it's ok, we can still hoop like it's nobody's business."
Now that Jason Collins has decided to come out, I think that it's kind of anti-climactic for a couple of reasons.  One, Jason Collins isn't a factor in the N.B.A., and two, he's currently a free-agent without a team.  I'm not saying that Jason Collins is trying to get on an N.B.A. roster, but why wait so long?  If the other, bigger named and rumored N.B.A. players would come out, then I think the impact would be a lot bigger.  JASON COLLINS COMING OUT OF THE CLOSET RIGHT NOW IS LIKE MITT ROMNEY HOLDING A PRESS CONFERENCE TO ANNOUNCE THAT HE KNOWS A SURE FIRE WAY TO FIX THE ECONOMY.  No one outside of FOX NEWS would really pay attention because Mitt doesn't really have any clout in the world of politics right now.  To impress the masses of people in support of letting people live their own lives would be if someone like Chris Bosh, Jason Kidd, or even Russell Westbrook would come on out....LOL.  I'm not saying they're gay, but if they were, I don't think anyone would be that shocked.....ijs.

PISTORIUS IS GUILTY.....open and shut case.

PISTORIUS IS GUILTY........no trial needed

For anyone who is willing to defend the actions of OSCAR PISTORIUS, aka "Blade Runner," aka "Lil' Tink-Tink,"  here's a lil' something to keep in mind.  Pistorius says that he believed there to be a home intruder inside of the bathroom.....YEAH RIGHT.  I'm not a gun owner, and I've never had to deal with an intruder inside of my home, but I'm gonna tell you this much, I would imagine that instead of blasting holes in the door of my bathroom, I'm going to yell for the intruder to identify himself, warn him that I have a gun, and possibly give him a chance to surrender.  Also, before I go blasting holes in the bathroom door, I'm gonna yell for my girlfriend, because there could be a slight chance that SHE'S THE ONE IN THE BATHROOM making all of the noise.
The one decent thing that Oscar Pistorius can do at this time is to just admit that he intentionally shot and killed his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp.  I know that in this country we live by the law that says that everyone has a right to a fair trial, and is innocent until proven guilty, but this is SOUTH AFRICA, not America, so I'm going to take the initiative to save anyone who wants to defend Pistorius by reiterating the points made in my first paragraph.  In fact, I honestly believe that I could prosecute this case and get a conviction with my opening argument:  "Ladies and gentlemen of the jury, Lil' Tink-Tink wants us to believe that he heard some noises, rolled out of bed without noticing that his SUPER HOT GIRLFRIEND was missing, then started blasting away at the bathroom door, JUST IN CASE there was an intruder in there......YEAH RIGHT."  Next time Oscar, when you're laying next to one of THE HOTTEST WOMEN AROUND, try making sure she's safe before you go shooting up your house, unless of course you were planning to kill her in the first place.......I'M JUST SAYIN'
